April 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Pulsedriver has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/pulsedriverdj).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 06:12, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:JudithPronk-CDM-Cover.jpg)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:JudithPronk-CDM-Cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 18:33, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

September 2009[edit]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Glenn Beck (TV program). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. You changed the wording of a sentence in Glenn Beck (TV program) to say that Van Jones "ordered" the ad boycott. This is not sourced, not true, and would be considered by many to be an attempt to push a particular point of view. MichaelLNorth (talk) 19:31, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In response to the comment you made on my page: No, what I'm saying is that although Van Jones helped found color of change in 2005, he has not been involved with the organization for several years (a piece of source information that you decided to remove from the article). Your change, in addition to removing content that has been the result of a long collaborative editing process (see the talk page of the article), says "Van Jones, the Co-founder of Color of change, who ordered the boycott...". We can't say "ordered" unless you have a source stating that an order was given to subordinates (the advertisers?). Furthermore, it's ambiguous whether you're saying that Color of Change gave the "order" or Van Jones. So, this violates WP:NPOV ("ordered" in this context is perforative) and WP:V (no source says that an "order" was given, including those sources that you removed in your edit). Perhaps you can participate in the discussion on Talk:Glenn_Beck_(TV_program) or Talk:Glenn_Beck if you wish to help us improve these articles. Taxpayer March on Washington attendance estimates[edit]

You recently made a post on the talk page for this article:

"The Daily Mail got their source from, the Washington Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency. Stated in their article, and it is not reliable?"

I only see one article from The Daily News referenced above your comment: [1]. I read through the article several times, and searched for "Homeland", "Security", "Emergency", "Management" and "Agency" and found no results. I'm thinking that you must be referring to a different article. Could you please explain which article you were looking at, that reports on an attendance estimate from the DC Homeland Security field office? Thanks. — Mike :  tlk  14:48, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

October 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Nissan Skyline GT-R. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Can you not remove pictures without a good explanation, some may see this as vandalism, thank you. Donnie Park (talk) 21:33, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
