Roxann Dawson age[edit]

Are you certain she was born in 1958? I noticed imdb has her at 1964, and I checked several birth databases and there is no record of her.--Fallout boy 02:51, 20 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your blog[edit]

I just noticed a link to your blog on one of the discussion pages you edited. You're quite right on a lot of the stuff - Goldie Hawn's made-up name, which I deleted from her page - I have got no clue where it started - but her grandfather's name was Otto Hawn, so obviously the long name is crap. Billy Bob's Italian ancestry - I found that family tree and fixed up his article accordingly - the only Italian connection I can see is that Duce guy - or do you think he made the whole thing up?. As for George Raft - there was a dusty old book bio in my university's library. It said his father was a German immigrant and his mother an Italian American woman. This is now also in his article, I see. The book seemed reliable, but I am not sure. If you think it's not true you should remove it from the article. Mad Jack 07:08, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, do you know anything about Kate Hudson's father? I've been trying to figure out "how Italian" he is. The family tree given by Ancestry.com seemed to indicate that Kate Hudson's paternal grandfather was not Italian at all. Cheers, Mad Jack 07:12, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So she isn't Dutch either? Looks like you can't trust anything actors say about their background anymore. By the way, where you did find out that Jenny McCarthy's mother is of German descent? George Allen[edit]

I believe this edit by you [1], after being noticed and mentioned by the Forward paper in August, eventually led to this [2]. It means Wikipedia had the information that George Allen's mother was Jewish two months before Allen himself found out! Interesting Mad Jack 07:59, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Questors. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
