Scroll boxes[edit]

Hi Pristinegoal: FYI, scroll boxes should not be used for references per MOS:SCROLL. Thanks, 72Dino (talk) 17:09, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi 72Dino: Thanks for the reminder, I didn't realize it at first. My apologies for the unnecessary additions. Pristinegoal (talk) 17:15, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

Hi. Please see this guideline before adding any more categories to articles: WP:OVERCAT. Thanks, and happy editing! -- Ssilvers (talk) 05:23, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on English people of Spanish-Jewish descent, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

wrong placed intro of a category

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Categories[edit]

Please do not add religion, ethnic, or descent categories or information to biography articles (as you did at John Strasberg for example) without first ensuring that 1) the category is supported by sourced article content and 2) the individual identifies as such. Please see WP:BLPCAT and WP:EGRS for additional information. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 16:52, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

not vandalism[edit]

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at Kathie Lee Gifford, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia guidelines. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. –BMRR (talk) 18:51, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, the preceding edit seemed to be a bit deceiving. I'll go through the guideline and will be more thorough with reverting edits next time. Pristinegoal (talk) 18:54, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

November 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Jennifer Hudson. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. — UncleBubba T @ C ) 19:53, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

My apologies for my poorly implemented edit from Jennifer Hudson. I looked over my recent edit from the article as it was a minor typo that I left while making my minor tweaks. It wasn't intentional vandalism as I just wanted to list her more notable occupations as well as reorganizing the article categories.Pristinegoal (talk) 21:39, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rachel Weisz[edit]

It was not an unexplained removal by me, but either way - please see WP:OPENPARA, which states "In most modern-day cases this will mean the country of which the person is a citizen or national, or was a citizen when the person became notable." Weisz has been notable for 15 years as an English actress, so she is obviously referred to as English. We don't refer to Kirsten Dunst as German-American either, or Anthony Hopkins as a Welsh-American, for example. It has also been covered at the talk page already. Sorry about that. I wasn't initially aware of the paragraph guidelines regarding her citizenship or nationality. I'll make the necessary re-modifications immediately.Pristinegoal (talk) 05:32, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. Thanks for understanding. Nymf hideliho! 19:04, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
