thanks for the edit, I was about to revert it, I just saw the web comic (a little bit of sources would be fine though, I'll try adding something like that when I get enough experience in the wiki :D)

AfD nomination of Better Halves[edit]

An editor has nominated Better Halves, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Better Halves and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:59, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:No Mouth Box Front.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:No Mouth Box Front.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:00, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article NBC Sports Heads-Up Poker has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I can find no primary sources on this phone app, and even the developer is not notable judging by the red link it currently shows.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.   ArcAngel   (talk) ) 05:49, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Win Lose or Draw.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Win Lose or Draw.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Disambiguation link notification for February 3[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gayne Rescher, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Washington (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

flagicons and linking nationality in infoboxes[edit]

Per Template:Infobox person and WP:OVERLINK, there is no reason to be using flag icons or linking to nationality in infoboxes. There is no reason to believe that when some is described as being from the United States that anyone would need to do additional research by reading the article about the country. Alansohn (talk) 18:12, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I saw a flag icon in another info box, but now I understand that it is not be be used. Primogen (talk) 21:08, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

People associated with comic book films[edit]

FYI: I understand that when you added the {{WikiProject Comics}} banner to people associated with Marvel Comics films, it was done in good faith. But the Comic book films task force is part of {{WikiProject Film}}, which already covers so many articles, that it was decided (not by me) to exclude actors, filmmakers and screenwriters. These people are covered by the filmbio work group in {{WikiProject Biography}}, and unless they are also comics creators, they should not be added to the comics project. Hello, Primogen. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Harold Livingston, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Harold Livingston to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Hi Primogen, a long shot as you haven't edited in a year, but you made this edit on Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines in 2006, adding a lot of behind the scenes development information. I have worked on developing the article significantly recently but am unable to source much of this info such as :

When Troika had not completed a playable Santa Monica hub with combat and discipline usage that met Activision's satisfaction after more than two years of development time, the publisher took several steps to bring closure to the troubled project. First, Activision increased the budget to add Troika's second development team to the project in March 2004, after they had completed work on The Temple of Elemental Evil. Next, it sent the game's Activision producer and two testers to work on-site at Troika's offices until the game was completed. Finally, it set a hard deadline of September 15 for Troika to produce a Code Release Candidate. Troika delivered the Code Release Candidate on the required date, although not without taking a toll on the development team, as comments found in the game's files suggest: "#TJP: SEPT 15th I'm drunk. Hasn't this game shipped yet?" Due to the game's size and complexity, the Code Release Candidate took three weeks to test, but on on October 4, 2004, Bloodlines went Gold as Version 1.0. Since contractual obligations with Valve would not allow Bloodlines to be released before Valve's debut of the Source engine in Half-Life 2, Activision did not publicly announce that the game had gone Gold and instead gave Troika an additional week to polish the game, after which Bloodlines Version 1.1 underwent another three weeks of testing. It was this second version of Bloodlines that shipped on November 16, 2004 -- the same day that Half-Life 2 was released.

I was wondering if you could tell me where you got this info so that I could better source it, as otherwise the information would need to be removed and it would be a shame to lose useful information. Darkwarriorblake / SEXY ACTION TALK PAGE! 22:02, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest editing[edit]

Hi. I'm an administrator on Wikipedia. I wanted to drop a note on your talk page about editing articles with which you have a conflict of interest. Ideally, you should post to the article's talk page and request edits using {{request edit}}, though you're certainly free to correct hoaxes or vandalism. Assuming you really are who you claim to be (you never really know who you're talking to on the internet), it would be be big benefit to Wikipedia if you could contribute some of your knowledge of the video game industry. Just be careful about adding adjectives and adverbs to articles about you or your business interests. It's difficult to do so while maintaining a neutral point of view.
