I'm not the editor who reverted your edit, but I think that the editor thought you had added nonsense into the article, as shown by his edit summary. Pittsburgh Project???

Hey, hope you don't mind me assuming you are actually in Pittsburgh. I've been working on the Western Swing page, and a whole bunch of related topics because of an interest in West Coast Swing the dance, which started in Los Angeles, where Western Swing was hot in the 40s about the time the dance started being recognized. What this has to do with Pgh is that the Stearns interviewed someone who lived there in the 30s and told them about learning Jitterbug by watching the dancers in the Hill District. He also said that the girls in the mill towns along the rivers danced in a style similar to the blacks on the hill. I grew up in McKeesport, so you can see how this might interest me. I don't have any resources to work with right now to see when "jitterbug" SW PA, and how it spread. I suspect there was a strong "socio economic" element. Any ideas?
