Draft article[edit]

The page you created at Serbian Dancing Lady is nowhere near suitable as an article in its present state, and would almost certainly be deleted fairly soon if left as it was. To give you a chance to improve it, and possibly avoid deletion, I have moved the article to Draft:Serbian Dancing Lady. Make improvements to it, in particular making sure you add references for the information in rhe draft, and when you think it's ready to become an article submit it for review as an article for creation. JBW (talk) 21:57, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you have created another article which is likely to be deleted if it is left as it is, at Tomino's Hell Painting. I shall move that to draftspace to give you a chance to save it too, but I am not going to keep on doing that. My advice to new editors is that it is best to start by making small improvements to existing articles, rather than creating new articles. That way any mistakes you make will be small ones, and you won't have the discouraging experience of repeatedly seeing hours of work deleted. Gradually, you will get to learn how Wikipedia works, and after a while you will know enough about what is acceptable to be able to write whole new articles without fear that they will be deleted. Over the years I have found that editors who start by making small changes to existing articles and work up from there have a far better chance of having a successful time here than those who jump right into creating new articles from the start. If, however, you choose not to take that advice, then at least take the following advice.

  1. Don't create articles directly: instead create drafts and submit them for review.
  2. Read Wikipedia:My first article before putting any more time and work into new articles. JBW (talk) 22:06, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I se that you have decided to ignore the advice I gave you, and, as I suggested, the result is deletion of an article you have created. Well, that's your choice. However, if you keep on creating articles which have no chance at all of survival, you are likely to find that you are blocked from editing, to prevent further waste of other editors' and administrators' time in cleaning up what you do. Speedy deletion nomination of Serbian Dancing Lady[edit]

Hello, Palekaja

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Serbian Dancing Lady for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons. For more details please see the notice on the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

A tag has been placed on The Ring 4 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

A request for clarification[edit]

When you created the article Unnamed Girl you said that the picture is the work of Yuko Tatushima. Are you Yuko Tatushima? JBW (talk) 10:11, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
