hello
I have edited my page tonight. Please save those changes. I am not stating that I will hold wikipedia liable, what I am saying is these other people that keep editing my page have done this to other Native people on wikipedia and am asking why you are letting this happen to accomplished artists.
If you can not replace my edit with what's on my personal page PLEASE delete my name and companies in whole from wikipedia, period.

cc legal council Oyate Wayanka Po Win (talk) 05:19, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Joanelle! I'm sorry for the rough introduction to Wikipedia that you've had so far. There are some miaunderstandings of Wikipedia policy going on that I'd like to try and clear up.
First of all, please know that, as the templated warning below states, threats of legal action are incompatible with continuing to edit Wikipedia. If you persist in threatening legal action, either against other editors or Wikipedia as a whole, your account will be blocked from editing until the legal threat is lifted.
Second of all, no one person owns any Wikipedia page, not even the subject of the page. Wikipedia articles are collaborative exercises, and nobody has any special authority over the content of the article. If you disagree with other editors about the content of the page, you can raise your concerns on the talk page of the article, and you can also request deletion of the page outright, but either way, the result will only be decided after multiple editors get together and form a consensus about what is to be done.
I understand this is frustrating, and I apologize for that; Wikipedia is not an easy place to get the hang of, and our policies around biographies are not as I would personally wish it. But it is what it is. Please let me or another editor know if you have any questions about the process for any of this, and we'll do the best we can to help within the limits of Wikipedia policy. Thanks, Writ Keeper  05:46, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I sent this information below on Monday however I see nothing has been changed on my page. With that said please remove my name and companies from wikipedia. With Respect Joanelle Romero
Hello Wikipedia
Since we last emailed each other, I have had many conversations with my family, business associates, agent and manager and it is imperative you replace what is on my page on wikipedia with what I have written below.
This is the truth of who I am and what you have written is not true!!! My Native name is Oyate Wayanka Po Win in english it means People Who See This Woman and was given to me in a ceremony by Chief Leonard Crow Dog with many witnesses in attendance. I am stating this because on your email to me you wrote:
User:Oyate Wayanka Po Win also claims to be Romero, and has made legal threats. I have blocked both accounts under WP:NLT. --
I will state again I have not made legal threats - everything I write to anyone I always cc my legal council its a norm in our business especially when someone is trying to say I am not who I say I am - that being Apache etc ... As native peoples we identify in a few ways - 1) what your bloodline - genealogy (I have documentation going back 400 years on both sides of my parents; 2) A relative of (meaning when a family members marries someone from another tribe; 3) when a tribe and or tribes claim you; 4) kinship; 5) tribal enrollment.
Should you not correct my page (you have blocked me from editing) I will ask that you remove my name and all my companies completely from your company. This is not a threat and I understand anyone can edit pages however the folks that are not wikipedia editors, that keep editing my page, are people that are not in the best interest of our people. They don't know me or my family or my children. They have no legal right nor right to say if I am native or not period!!! And the folks from wikipedia who edited my page after being blocked - those words are not correct either. So if you can not replace it with the text below please remove me from wikipedia!!!
