Trams[edit]

Hi Oojimaflop. I've reverted your edit on trams as the report actually is relevant, I'm glad you gave an edit summary. I've also left a suggestion on the talk page which I hope you follow up. This would improve the educational as opposed to the political aspect of the article -something I believe we are both trying to achieve. Generally you should reply on the talk page. If you have contact with Anna, could you see if you can get a more friendly photo? Additional photos supporting the article are also useful. Let me know if you need any help with this. Hi. Thanks for this help. I'm still getting used to the twists and turns of this wikipedia land. I think the objections to the tram were based upon the route itself- something which I think can be referenced from the newsletters on Soubry's website (though I cannot be sure of that). Regarding photo's, yes I do have some more appropriate ones, though I haven't the foggiest how to upload them. I'm keen to improve on this article, as I feel that, whilst most sections are true, they place unfair weight on what could be considered Soubry's failings, and not on the overall picture of her term as MP. I'm grateful of any help Oojimaflop (talk) 15:36, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Uploading a file is done using the Toolbox:Upload file in the left hand margin. I've done quite a few including Nicky Morgan and Andy Reed but they've changed the rules and I think you need to get an account on Commons. I always use Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License. There may also be retrictions on new users but give it a try. If all else fails you can email me from my talk page and I'll send you an email address.
Re trams, the article would become much better if we could find any secondary source citing the route she wants. I could suggest it's discussed on the Politics show but we're not allowed to use her own website for anything much more than date of birth, school etc. The reference to her meeting with Nick Herd similarly needs to be replaced in the long term with a local paper report. Generally you shouldn't remove properly cited articles even if critical though I did add Legg report details to show some Telegraph expenses items were nonsense.
Re Royal Mail, this story needs to finish but I can't find anything.
Re other items, all MPs campaign for their local hospitals etc. -see WP:FLUFFYBUNNIES. More notable stories will involve her knowledge as a barrister/reporter/PPS or a combination.
This mental health item is well worth a section, using Hansard. Do you fancy giving it a go? JRPG (talk) 15:42, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
