Mackinlaya confusa

Hello Onel5969. I have reverted your edit on this page. Just because a phrase looks odd doesn't mean that it is incorrect, and if you had read the rest of the sentence you would have understood. Please don't simply make changes without trying to understand what is being written. Cheers  Junglenut |Talk  21:03, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

Dear Editor:

Could you read this article when you get a chance? Thank you, Joan arden murray (talk) 23:06, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

19th Century glassmaking innovations in the United States

Hello Onel5969, Thank you for your clean-up work on 19th Century glassmaking innovations in the United States. Do not worry about it being an orphan. I have a draft of another article to be called "19th century glassmaking in the United States" (in my sandbox) that will link to it. "19th century glassmaking..." got too big, so I split it into three pieces. I still need to proof citations, run reFill, run Analyze a page, and cleanup a third piece before it is released. If you are interested in glassmaking, I have already produced Early glassmaking in the United States and 18th century glassmaking in the United States. TwoScars (talk) 20:48, 5 April 2024 (UTC)

Please help with Principality of Abkhazia

protect the page from vandals and deletions of reliable information from users with a twink account, check User:Lemabeta, constantly delete all links without providing reliable sources and quotes Alsho093 (talk) 00:38, 8 April 2024 (UTC)

WP:BOOMERANG'd. - UtherSRG (talk) 10:46, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
I wasn't going to respond to the obvious pot calling the kettle black, but perhaps you could restore the article to the last stable version, and the pp it? Onel5969 TT me 11:40, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
I'm not sure where stability last was. 30 March? - UtherSRG (talk) 12:00, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
User @Alsho093 was banned for edit warring and deleting sourced material, therefore it is now stable. In the talk page his arguments were just humorous and trolling alike. He was mentioning that there was no Georgian language, because Georgian language didn't exist. Anyways, other users don't have any problem with the sources, only Alsho093. All of his edits are unargumentative and biased. Since he was banned, there's no reason for it to be changed, but it would be beneficial for the page to be protected instead. I requested page protection to protect the page from vandals such as Alsho093 is. Lemabeta (talk) 12:33, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
They are blocked (not banned) and for only 72 hours. I'll add protection. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:35, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
You are right, my mistake. Thank you for adding protection. Lemabeta (talk) 12:38, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
Lemabeta and UtherSRG... thank you both.15:56, 8 April 2024 (UTC)

Take a look at the article

@Onel5969Why does the article Farukia Madinatul Ulum Madrasah not appear on Google? It's good to see the article. ইউনুছ মিঞা (talk) 07:24, 8 April 2024 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for handling the hatnote changes, it just occurred to me after reading WP:HAT that (disambiguation) is to be included on the hatnote whether or not the linked page has it on the title. I did however replace the generic other uses template with a more specific phrase as was the case with the other The Late Show articles, and is the general trend on Wikipedia as a whole these days. MikeM2011 (talk) 15:17, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

  • Update: There were a few other articles linking to that dab I just updated as well. MikeM2011 (talk) 15:22, 10 April 2024 (UTC)

Just so you know

The capitals are deliberate. DS (talk) 02:04, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

Please see MOS:JOBTITLE. The list you link to is a list of titles, such as "Leo Gottlieb Professor of Law" whereas the example you reverted was simply referring to his position, professor of law. Onel5969 TT me 09:52, 13 April 2024 (UTC)

Orphan tag

Hi, please I have improved This, which you tagged as orphan.

Dear Editor:

Could you look at this article when you get a chance? Thanks very much. Joan arden murray (talk) 21:28, 20 April 2024 (UTC)

Orphan Tag

You placed an orphan Tag on the page Donald "C-Note" Hooker the page is now linked to an image in the Wikipedia article Prison art and is linked to the article Artivism. Could you please remove the Orphan Tag, thank you. Several of this artist's artworks have long been published in other Wikipedia articles. Selena Ebony (talk) 11:30, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

Ori Ben Ari

Ori Ben Ari wrote 2 songs for Omer Adam and it was already linked Acartonadooopo (talk) 14:54, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

Actually, it wasn't. You linked the Adam page at 14:57, I had tagged the Ari article at 9:35. Onel5969 TT me 15:43, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
In any case, it is not an orphan article, it is linked, check your template.--Acartonadooopo (talk) 15:59, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
Okay. Good. Onel5969 TT me 19:28, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

Dear Editor: I changed the name of this artist from Moyra Davey to Moyra Frances Davey because she was listed that way in the Gov General's Awards but the artist has asked me to change it back because the simpler name is her public name. I tried but can't as such a change needs an administrator. Could you do it please?

Thank you. My bad.

Joan arden murray (talk) 18:32, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

No worries. Took care of it. But remember, it really doesn't matter what the artist wants, however, looking at the sourcing, it follows the WP guideline of WP:COMMONNAME. Onel5969 TT me 09:06, 28 April 2024 (UTC)

) What do you mean by "TT me" btw.?
D4n2016 (talk) 11:27, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
Hi. That TT me is simply what I chose instead of the simple "talk" link in my signature. Onel5969 TT me 15:13, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
