Speedy deletion nominations[edit]

Hi. Welcome to New Page Patrol. When you nominate an article for speedy deletion, it's best to use one of the standard tags listed in WP:CSD like {{db-person}} or {{db-band}}; an admin is more likely to accept them, and if you can't find a suitable one it probably means the article doesn't meet the (fairly restricted) conditions for a speedy. In the particular case of an attack page like Gay flu, the one to use is {{db-attack}}, which gets quick attention from an admin and generates a suitably sharp warning for you to put on the author's page. With an attack page it's also useful to replace the content with the word "blanked" so the attack is no longer visible - the admin can look in the history to check.
