Signature[edit]

Hi, it seems that you use only "Ned" as your signature (see this edit). But according to Wikipedia:Signatures#Internal links, "signatures must include at least one direct internal link to your user page, user talk page, or contributions page; this allows other editors easy access to your talk page and contributions log. The lack of such a link is widely viewed as obstructive." So I added links to your user name and talk page to your signature. For how to change your default signature, see Help:How to fix your signature. Thanks for your contributions. --Neo-Jay (talk) 19:18, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Neo-Jay: Thank you very much. I did not know of this. Ned 19:35, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, please read Template:Current sport#Guidelines. This is suppose to be used if the pages are "either changing rapidly or about which understanding is rapidly evolving". Or may be used "in those occasions that many editors (perhaps a hundred or more) edit an article on the same day". It is not meant as a persistent 24 hour, 7-day disclaimer that is posted for all 16+ days. None of the Olympics articles are really rapidly evolving or editing. Other than periods of vandalism, the main 2018 Olympics page does not get frequent minute-by-minute edits. And both the medal table and the chronological summary pages usually only get updated when an event ends and the medals are determined, but it only takes a few minutes to update them, not a massive amount of edits from multiple editors in a short time span.

Also see Wikipedia:Current event templates. Most other current event templates are usually treated the same way: warn readers about the fast-changing or speculative nature of the article, but should not appear for several weeks Thanks. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:57, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't modify other's comments. Thanks. Artix Kreiger (talk) 22:24, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I was trying to make it more readable, however, in hindsight, you are right.

About using template[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you tried to use Template:Reply to at Wikipedia:Teahouse by adding "{{@reply to|Stormy clouds}}". It does not work because "@" is used in it. The correct method is adding "{{reply to|Stormy clouds}}". For more information, see Template:Reply to. Thanks for your contributions. --Neo-Jay (talk) 08:54, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
