Doesn't work at all?[edit]

@MusikAnimal: Hi! I just got this and it does not change anything at all. Any idea what's up? DemonDays64 (talk) 02:48, 15 September 2020 (UTC) (please ping on reply)[reply]

@DemonDays64: Hi, did you try clicking on the "Nighpedia" link in your top toolbar? If that didn't work, please let me know what browser you are using, and if possible any errors your browser reports. See WP:JSERROR on how to this. Best, MusikAnimal talk 04:10, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@MusikAnimal: oh!! didn't read the documentation, sorry! thanks, it seems to work (except left sidebar is still white?) DemonDays64 (talk) 04:38, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DemonDays64: Which skin are you using, and which web browser? MusikAnimal talk 14:12, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@MusikAnimal: updated Firefox, Mac, Vector without anything I can think of that would mess with the sidebar. Will try it w/o userscripts, maybe one is breaking it. DemonDays64 (talk) 15:39, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
MusikAnimal, I can't find the toggle either. Can you upload a screenshot highlighting the part where the toggle is? I checked pull-down menus for More and TWinkle I have, and I don't see the button for this gadget. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:55, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Piotrus: It's at the top, next your "Watchlist" link. If you don't see it, please share which browser/operating system your using, and also any errors you see in your JS console (instructions). Best, MusikAnimal talk 17:41, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
MusikAnimal I see it, all good, I didn't think to look there as I expected the button to be in the lower section. Thanks! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:40, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly redundant now?[edit]

I'm wondering if this is now superseded by Wikipedia:Dark mode (gadget), and perhaps that page ought to be linked from here?

and (optionally, if you can think of a simple way to do it!) perhaps the users of this script might helpfully be pinged? (but sometime after Monday's m:Tech/News/2022/06 gets delivered, which will hopefully reduce that listing spontaneously!)

Thanks, as always! Quiddity (talk) 19:55, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
