Bette Davis[edit]

I left an edit summary explaining why. The majority of the content you changed did not have a source added with it. This is considered a featured article, and any content must have a reliable source to support it. Some of the other changes directly contradicted what was already there. For instance, regarding the film, The Corn is Green, the article said "The film was well received by critics but did not find a substantial audience" and said the film received poor reviews. You changed that to say "The film was well received by critics and was another box-office hit" and said the film received mixed reviews, and without adding a reference to support what you changed. In the middle of a paragraph talking about choosing film offers, you stuck in something that said she bought a house at Roddy McDowall's urging. Not sure why that was stuck in there, but it had nothing to do with film offers. In several places you stuck in the month in from of the year, which is fairly irrelevant, but was not sourced. And you broke up several paragraphs, redistributing them in a way that made no sense. Overall, as I said, this is a featured article amd such major changes should be discussed, since the primary author is around and would be willing to discuss it, and I am sure he would have reverted this as well. The prose needs to flow from one section to another and not be chopped up and scattered throughout the article. Wildhartlivie (talk) 00:34, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
