The New article announcements board is probably the most important and the most attended one. Please don't forget to anounce there the new articles you create. Adding both boards to your watchlist is probably a good idea.

Finally, in case you are interested, similar boards exist at Russia portal as many editors contribute to topics related to both countries. The respective boards there are: Portal:Russia/New article announcements and Portal:Russia/Russia-related Wikipedia notice board. Holodomor[edit]

Whatever issues you have with Holodomor, please raise them at talk first. This is a very controversial topic, exactly the one for which: WP:BOLD#…but don't be reckless! is written. Thank you for your comments at Holodomor. I will try to answer them. In return I ask you to please answer the questions asked to you at talk, specifically about the info from Wheatcroft. There is an important difference between the excess death number according to the statistics and the famine loss. The way you inserted the former number as one of the estimates of Holodomor victims was misleading while the quote in the footnote was apparently correct. Unfortunately, I haven't seen Wheatcroft book, but the online review provides much different numbers for his estimates (see article's talk), although, if I understand correctly, these estimates are for an entire SU. So, please be a little more responsive to the dialog rather than just editing the article your way and stating the problems you have with it. I agree, the article isn't perfect. More at talk later. Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. William M.
