July 2021[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Hillary Clinton, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Also please consider that even if sources can be provided, not every "first" occurrence of something is relevant to be prominently highlighted in an article's introductory section, which per WP:LEDE should focus on central aspects. Copying within Wikipedia[edit]

Smile emoji Hi Mikeybeckjr1! Thank you for your edits to Windsor Vermont Senate District, 2012–2022. It looks like you've copied or moved text from Addison Vermont Senate District, 2012–2022 into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 04:40, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Windham Vermont Senate District, 2012–2022, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I re-instated your edit after finding a source (NH Secretary of State), confirming your change. In general, changing a number which has a citation is fraught with misunderstanding. Unless the new number precisely matches the cited reference, it's almost certain to be reverted. Tarl N. (discuss) 00:28, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
