Hmm, doesn't seem to work.

Jyllands-Posten[edit]

The statements in the section you removed from Jyllands-Posten are not really unverifable as you claimed. Kasperd 20:59, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re : AfD not deleted[edit]

Done. - Best regards, Mailer Diablo 01:50, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Medico. "Spam" is not a recognised speedy delete criterion. A full list of criteria can be found at WP:CSD. If you still wish to have Bs4994 deleted, you will need to find a criterion that applies. Otherwise you will need to use WP:PROD or WP:AfD. Thanks. ЯEDVERS 13:46, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree with you, and I'd really like "spam" to be a new criterion. But it isn't getting any support as an idea, because most people think it is already a criterion. ЯEDVERS 13:53, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The J Curve[edit]

Could you please reconsider your vote on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The J Curve: A New Way to Understand Why Nations Rise and Fall after taking into account my comment. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  15:53, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting vandalism[edit]

Hello. On the American Revolution article you reverting some vandalism in this edit. Unfortunately the vandal make two edits in a row to the page, and you only reverting the second of the two edits. Everybody that came after you must have figured you reverted all the vandalism, and so the problem never got fixed (until I just fixed it now). In the future you may want to check the history a bit closer before reverting vandalism. Cheers. Qutezuce 09:18, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

American flag ?[edit]

To answer your question on the flag, when rotated 90 degrees, the flag should be flipped along its (now) vertical axis to put the union in the viewer's left and the presenter's right. The exception is when it is hung in such a manner that the flag is hanging vertically over a street or thoroughfare. In that instance the union should be on the outermost point of the flagpole or holding mechanism (i.e. the union is closest to the street). Hope that answers your question. Orphaned fair use image (Image:Thegingerbreadmanposter.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Thegingerbreadmanposter.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 11:52, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DRV question[edit]

To answer the question in the now-closed discussion - you got me. I have no clue why anyone thinks this should be deleted given our policies and guidelines concerning the subject. There's no legitimate argument for deletion that I've seen. --badlydrawnjeff talk 14:44, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

lolcat bible[edit]

This is just WP:IDONTLIKEIT, is not a reason for deletion, the content has coverage and sources, name a wikipedia policy or guideline which it violates in a PROD or take it to AfD. Cheers, - Zeibura (Talk) 01:20, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Skejbysygehus.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Skejbysygehus.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
