Halal[edit]

Hello! Why do you keep adding "*Animals that are considered too young, too old, or have served humans." to Halal? The section under which you are adding is "explicitly forbidden substances". Your addition is also preceded by "A variety of substances are considered forbidden (haraam) as per various Quranic verses:"

Such animals are not EXPLICITLY forbidden, nor does the Qur'an or any mentioned verses refer to such animals. Thus, "animals that are considered too young, too old, or have served humans" are not explicitly forbidden. I am reverting your addition one more time. Please discuss this if you object, do not merely revert again. ThanksStarwarp2k2 23:26, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am reverting a third and final time. Please discuss before changing or you will be violating the 3RR. This is ridiculous, because I repeat, they are not EXPLICITLY forbidden. This is common knowledge. Starwarp2k2 17:51, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Instead of just removing an entry YOU think is not true and asking me to discuss it, try making justified arguments on why you think this entry should be removed while providing sufficient valid and reliable references to support your view. For the meantime, I will continue to repost this entry because as far as I know it, eating animals that are not able to defend and protect itself (e.g. newborns and aging animals[1]) and those that have lived a life in hardship whilst serving people (as transportation, manual labour etc) IS haraam. This website is not centred on your opinions. Do not talk to me again.

I'm choosing to pursue this conversation even after you've told me not to, because that's the only way to solve disputes. As I've told you above, although I agree with your statements that those animals are not permissible- they are not "EXPLICITLY FORBIDDEN" in the Qur'an. And that is what the section refers to. I've vindicated my position- it is now upto you to defend yours. If you do not do so, I'll be forced to revert again and take this dispute to the property authorities due to your unwillingness to discuss.Starwarp2k2 03:11, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Calm down! You should go out and get some fresh air more often! Weirdo.

Shatkora[edit]

Are you able to find the species of shatkora? I think one of the professors of botany or horticulture in Bangladesh must know. Badagnani (talk) 04:23, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
