Hello, I'm not sure if this is the appropriate channel to bring this up, but the san jose sharks svg is not a true vector image. it is a vector image of a square who has an embedded png. you might have forgotten to export it correctly when you changed the teal colors. i found another version that is truly svg at http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/logo/san-jose-sharks-0. thank you for your contributions!
