Corrected spelling of legal middle name (Michele, not Michelle) and the names of Cambridge and Oxford. Although often referred to informally as "Cambridge University" and "Oxford University," their correct names are the University of Cambridge and University of Oxford, respectively. As Wikipedia is an encyclopedic reference, their correct names should be used. Removed the "citation needed" note for New York Review of Books, as this would be redundant. The correct reference is New York Times Review of Books (the newspaper), not the New York Review of Books (a magazine). This book is the citation itself. A citation from Books in Print can be provided if deemed necessary. Finally, questions about notability should refer to the Wikipedia criteria for Academics, which indicates clearly that highly cited (anything over 100 would be considered high) academics are noteworthy. Having been cited over 1200 times, with publication of four books and over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and refereed book chapters, this entry meets the criteria for notable. The academic criteria specifically indicates that a (current) faculty appointment is not a requirement for notability in this category. Many academics do not have faculty appointments in higher education. ----math5577
