Hello, this is user: ltimur . I have an important question. What do we do when an administrator start to vandalize and use wikipedia for their own political thoughts? What do we do when real is confused with speculation by an adminitrator? Are we able to ban them?

I am really disappointed with wikipedia if my last question is a no.

Please let me know if you can help me...

Thanks

Ltimur

Hi Master Jay. I was just thinking maybe we could merge The {{sprotected2}} and {{sprotected3}} template together since the are really similar. The only difference I see in the template is a minor edit adjusting it to the left a little, am I right? If so, I have no problem moving it that little bit on Sprotected2 because it needed to be moved anyways for better viewing. Let me know what you think, Cheers! semper fiMoe 04:24, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redirecting and changes to Sproteceted2 complete. Hopefully it will be alright like this. Tell me if you experience difficulty with it :) semper fiMoe 00:28, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

No problem. I think I spend 1/4 of my time here rvv. Two questions: is there some reason we allow non-registered users to contribute at all? why not eliminate the warning policy and just suspend a vandal for 1 week for first occurrence, 1 month for second, and 1 year for 3rd violation. We give them way too much latitude, IMO. Appraiser 21:21, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

66.37.63.162 has vandalized several pages since his block expired - at Tom Vilsack, Mexican American, and Barbara Kingsolver. 66.37.63.162's Contribution's page Thought I'd let you know since you were the one who blocked him most recently. --Tim4christ17 talk 04:30, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of 'LA American Wasteland (G-Unit Radio West Part 1)'

I am curious about why you did not respect the Template:Hangon that I added to LA American Wasteland (G-Unit Radio West Part 1) and deleted it anyway. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 22:27, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orchestra Right Records on deletion review

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Orchestra Right Records. Since you closed the deletion discussion for (or speedy-deleted) this article, you might want to participate in the deletion review. SpokaneWilly 03:29, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rationale for keeping "Queen's University Chess Club"?

Jay, I see that you've suggested that we keep and cleanup the Queen's University Chess Club article. Could you help us out and elucidate as to why you think this article should be kept? The comments could certainly prove to be useful in cleaning up the article, should it be kept. Andy Saunders 13:58, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Replied there. Thanks --Jay(Reply) 19:05, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There really wasn't that much vandalism—most of the edits by anons were very useful and constructive. Do you mind if I unprotect the page? Khoikhoi 05:03, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, but be careful. Keep a good eye on it then. --Jay(Reply) 05:05, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'll see what happens, and will reprotect if it gets bad. Thanks, Khoikhoi 05:05, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
