Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to pork. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Eyrian 01:59, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest policy[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Ronz (talk) 17:19, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Whoa, that's totally inappropriate, Ronz. The site in question is informative and non-commercial and this account has not been used to place that link anywhere but on the one relevant page. You have absolutely no evidence that this is in any way promotion of a person, ideology, or product. What we have here is neither spam nor advertising but rather a failure to assume good faith. Remember that people can also be blocked for the inappropriate use of warning banners, among other things.23:38, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's perfectly appropriate. I've explained myself once [1]. If anyone wants further clarification, please ask. --Ronz (talk) 00:11, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

April 2013[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Ronz (talk) 22:51, 27 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. --Ronz (talk) 15:59, 2 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
