Editing article about yourself[edit]

Hi, you appear to be editing an extant article about yourself, Larry Livermore. You should be advised that Wikipedia strongly discourages editing extant articles about yourself; for more information on this see the policy on autobiographies.

That being said, your edits to the article thus far have been fine, and you have done nothing that I would consider to be a violation of the autobiography policy. Removing unreferenced libelous information about yourself and correcting basic biographical facts such as year of birth are generally acceptable. Let me know if you have any questions. —KuyaBriBriTalk 18:41, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your feedback[edit]

Yes, I am aware that it is not generally advisable to edit information about oneself, and I have tried to avoid it. However, as of late somebody has been maliciously - or at least mischievously - editing the page and inserting false information into it.

The correction from "Tré Cool" to "Tre Cool", on the other hand, was simply correcting a common error with which I'm familiar, having known the person in question since childhood, and having, as his own biography states, played a part in giving him that name.

I will try to refrain from making any additional changes to my biography other than correcting deliberate misinformation or vandalism. Thanks again for your help with this ˜˜˜˜llivermore1
