Teaming up on translation?

Checking to see if you want to team up on Article 49 of the French Constitution. I ask before joining the translation since you have been very active on it and to see if this is a pet project that you want to complete alone. You seem to make good progress on it and I could do the proofreading only if you want to go at it alone for the translation. NeWDaC (talk) 06:37, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Early Christian Inscriptions, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.catholicity.com/encyclopedia/i/inscriptions,early_christian.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 17:35, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

CSBot indeed did not recognize the extended form of {{Catholic}}. I've taught it better.  :-) — Coren (talk) 18:05, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 22:33, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, SuggestBot! I've made a shortened list of these on my user page. Lesgles (talk) 13:24, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks!

I appreciate your edits to A Vindication of the Rights of Men - denunciation was a lovely choice. By the way, I noticed that you are FR-3 and interested in literature. One of my wiki-friends, Scartol, is currently working on some Balzac novel articles (currently Les Chouans) and would appreciate the help of someone who could read the French criticism! Thanks for the tip! I'll look into it. Lesgles (talk) 16:05, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Fazioli-logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Fazioli-logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:16, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi. I have recently started the article Yankee Doodle Coffee Shop. Since you are listed in the category Yale Alumni, I thought you might be interesting in contributing to the article. Thanks. Yilloslime (t) 22:44, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll see what I can add. Lesgles (talk) 00:08, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the correction in the Christian naturism article last month, by changing "most well-known" to "best-known." We're working on a three-paragraph article on Christian naturism for Wikipedia in the other major European languages. My Portuguese is pretty good, but not so in French. You can read the rough draft here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:RGNU/Sandbox

Feel free to make any changes you like to the French section. The last two paragraphs are written nearly word-for-word with the Portuguese, which doesn't always work out so well.

RGNU (talk) 19:22, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome, I might take a look at the draft. My interest in the topic, however, is limited. I was just on a random hunt for the "most well known" solecism. Lesgles (talk) 20:12, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

DYK for Fyodor Ivanovich Tolstoy

Updated DYK query On 27 December, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Fyodor Ivanovich Tolstoy, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
