Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Kimen8 (talk) 22:27, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Patient Zero. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Visual cortex, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Patient Zerotalk 20:52, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your edits to Visual cortex: it's safer to propose your edits in a new section in Talk:Visual cortex. That way other editors can explain what subject matter you are missing or misunderstanding, or what wikipedia policy you might be misunderstanding. You can ask your questions on that talk page. --Ancheta Wis   (talk | contribs) 08:42, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary[edit]

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood or reverted. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. Thanks! --Dustfreeworld (talk) 05:16, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
