Request reason:

Caught by a web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. This IP (currently: 81.17.21.68) belongs to the Witopia VPN service, which I need/want to use when on public WiFi or untrusted networks. Kramred (talk) 15:18, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You have made exactly one edit - this unblock request - and since the block has no effect on your ability to read Wikipedia, there doesn't seem to be any reason to make any changes to the block. —DoRD (talk) 16:51, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • I am not clear why a publicly provided VPN is not effectively a web host service, or at the least another way of providing what is, for Wikipedia purposes, the same effect. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:26, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
