user-space sub-pages[edit]

The way to do what you're trying to do is with subpages, I think. Copy your content into User:Kaiguy817/William D. Alexander House, for example; get it ready there, and then move it into article space. That way, the article page only has the history of that article, not the history of your user page. This link might help you, too: WP:USERSPACEDRAFT - you can make subpages with that.  Chzz  ►  01:09, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thank you for adding those new Provo photos. I posted this earlier today, along with a suggestion on using user subpages for your draft articles, but it looks like they deleted my post along with your misplaced stuff. The pictures are a great contribution to Wikipedia; don't let a little negative attention stop you from making positive edits. Ntsimp (talk) 00:01, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I repeat, well done! Ntsimp (talk) 23:40, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Utah County NRHPs, etc[edit]

William D. Alexander House pic by Kaiguy817

Hi! I don't know if you might have noticed yet or not, but I've been creating and editing NRHP articles from List of RHPs in Utah County recently. I notice your many great contributions of photos and of articles, such as for William D. Alexander House. Thanks for your work! I could possibly have some suggestions if you were continuing to contribute, but unfortunately I notice that you have not contributed for many months. Anyhow I am pleased to be finding your work, and I expect that I will continue to add to it. In general is it is great how wikipedia works, to enable many editors to make contributions that add up over time to great accomplishments. Thanks and cheers, --doncram 18:31, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have further added to each of the seven Provo high-style house articles that are linked by one thematic resources nomination, i.e. the Knight-Mangum House, the John R. Twelves House, the Jesse Knight House, the Knight-Allen House, the William H. Ray House, the Thomas N. Taylor House, and the Charles E. Loose House. I figured out that the latter was determined to be NRHP-eligible but was not NRHP-listed due to owner objection, but then later I gather it was included in a NRHP historic district anyhow. I added inline references for the thematic resources document and an individual NRHP/Utah State document for each one. But the sourcing is now a bit confused, perhaps duplicative, and the articles need some good further editing. If/when you return, I would be very glad if you could review and revise these. As you have the off-line documents or access to them, apparently, you are in the best position to integreate them plus the online ones. Thanks again for your work! --doncram 14:18, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
