March 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Mao Zedong does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! October 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to MMR vaccine and autism, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. You are adding unnecessary links and clarifiers to terms that are perfectly well understood. That's really not necessary. Guy (help!) 09:30, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wikilinks[edit]

Hello and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you added some wikilinks to names on the article Super Mario Bros. We typically don't put duplicate wikilinks in close proximity to each other. That is to say, if the name Shigeru Miyamoto links to his page on a particular line of a Wikipedia page, and the name Shigeru Miyamoto is used on the following line, we don't link the name to his page again. I may have explained that in a convoluted way, so if you have any questions about it (or about anything), feel free to ask me. Thanks. Useight (talk) 17:47, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

September 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mamushir. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Flag of the Republic of China have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Please don't move pages that doesn't make sense.

Please look into his actions. EI_C 10:16, 5 September 2020 (UTC) Mamushir (talk) 10:16, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
