Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Jen1955. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Michael Pillsbury, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Guy (help!) 19:19, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

request edit[edit]

{{request edit}}

Information to be added or removed: Under AFFILIATIONS, Michael Pillsbury's affiliation with the Freedom House ended in 2019; also, Mr Pillsbury stopped being a board member at the French American Cultural Center in 2019 so this needs to be changed; Finally, this line does not fit into the affiliations section and should be removed: "Aided Bank of Credit and Commerce International in avoiding bad publicity in the US Senate after BCCI pleaded guilty to laundering billions of dollars in "drug money laundering, arms trafficking and support of terrorists"

thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jen1955 (talkcontribs) 20:24, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please make your request on the talk page of the article where you're requesting the changes be made. That page may be found in the search bar by placing Talk: in front of the page's name. Regards,  Spintendo  11:57, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

April 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Also, I answered your COI edit request at Michael Pillsbury. {{replyto}} Can I Log In's (talk) page 17:21, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
