Hi, Jamesmcardle, I noticed your working on Sovetskoe Foto and created a category on commons. One never knows, other people might add more images. Thank you for your time. :) Lotje (talk) 13:48, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:19, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

Titled: "Back to a Coast Guard assault transport comes this Marine[1] after two days and nights of Hell on the beach of Eniwetok in the Marshall Islands. His face is grimey with coral dust but the light of battle stays in his eyes." February 1944. 26-G-3394.

@Jamesmcardle: I was wondering if this could be the image you seem to describe in the article. If yes, youd could add it. Thank you for your time. Lotje (talk) 15:37, 13 August 2018 (UTC)

References

Hi Jamesmcardle, maybe you should take a look at the Commons:Category:Suzanne Szasz and choose an image to add to the article. Thank you for your time. Lotje (talk) 05:51, 15 August 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 20

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nikolai Kozlovsky, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jura (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:37, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted

Hi Jamesmcardle, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Swarm 05:39, 23 August 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for the correction. Of course, you are correct. I have self-reverted.

Did you know the WP:ITNC#RD: Mirka Mora nomination for this article has stalled because her Wikipedia page focuses too much on her personal life and not her career. Can you help by adding more information about her oeuvre? --- Coffeeandcrumbs 11:40, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
