I moved your comment from [[Talk:Grasshopper Scouts/Comments] to Talk:Grasshopper Scouts, because an article's Talk page is where comments regarding editing of the article would normally go. Thank you for your help on the article. --| Uncle Milty | talk | 01:17, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009[edit]

My suggestion would be to have the deleted article moved to your userspace. Once there, you can get suggestions on how and if it's possible to improve it enough to have it recreated or merged somewhere. Has it received any coverage since the deletion? The deletion discussion is archived here [1]. ChildofMidnight (talk) 16:57, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Alexander Henry Image[edit]

Hi J appleseed2. Am trawling through a number of images without descriptions, and came across the Alexander Henry image that you uploaded (at File:Alexander Henry.png). In researching, I was only able to discover that there were two Alexander Henry's (The elder and the younger) that may appear in the publication that the image came from - so I'm unable to confirm which one the image is of. Could you possibly do the necessary, and update the information required? Much appreciated. Best wishes. --Haruth (talk) 10:32, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:HMS St Vincent.jpg missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 09:44, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A tag has been placed on The National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – S.
