Hi there. I've read your specific page about this and it all seems fair enough... but you use AC/DC's page as a particular example of good image use (or lack of images). That page currently contains at least two non-free photographs (tagged as "promotional") and two album covers. Have they gone in there since you wrote your guidelines, or is that page thoroughly acceptable as it is? And if so, why is it? Not a complaint - just trying to understand all these rules, which seem very nebulous sometimes. I've been working hard on the Cradle of Filth pages so I want to make sure they're right. Cheers! Oh, and will you be visiting your wrath on Iron Maiden discography too? And Bob Dylan? And... and... and... Cardinal Wurzel 10:09, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

...and I'm slightly concerned by the "this is an opinion not a policy" banner...

Well, I have responded on your talk page to some of this. I intend to clear every 'discography' page of images being abused in this way. As for this being an essay- it is an essay, it just references policy. I cannot write something and pretend that it is policy. This is just an explanation of why the use of album covers in that way is against our policy. J Milburn 15:18, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
