Rock Springs massacre featured article review

I have nominated Rock Springs massacre for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Remove" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here.

I think that since you are unwilling to respond to problems with the article, while admitting the article fails the guidelines for a featured article, the article should go up for review to get editors who can work on it. Asian American issues are very poorly represented in Wikipedia, and, when they are featured on the main page, I would like to see them at their best. This means it should be neutral, well-written, and have a lead section that clearly introduces the article. --68.127.233.138 (talk) 02:28, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

I've removed this FAR, which didn't follow the instructions at Wp:FAR regarding mainpage day. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 02:52, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Rock Springs massacre use of "(sic)"

Hi IvoShandor I noticed you are heavily involved with Rock Springs massacre (congratulations on the FA status, I first found out about this piece of history on the Main page) so maybe you have access to some of the sources. At Talk:Rock_Springs_massacre#Sic.3F an IP is questioning the use of "(sic)" in one of the quotes in the article. Can you check the original source to make sure the usage is correct? Cheers, --Commander Keane (talk) 02:30, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Jackbooted Thug

Thanks for the heads up - I made it a redirect to Thug for now and opened this thread at WP:ANI to see if there was consensus to delete (my first thought) plus what to do about its creator. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 13:30, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Cleanup tag reversion

I know this was from a long time ago (2007), but I don't like taking down tags without informing the editor who put them up. I removed a cleanup tag that you hung on Springfield High School (Illinois). The article is slightly expanded, is better referenced and cited, and reads a little better. It still has miles to go. I just wanted to give the option of rehanging it, if you thought it still belonged ... I just don't like reverting that stuff without dropping a note.
