Interaction with Mr Hyde[edit]

Iron Duke, there's a user on Wikipedia that seems to have a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde personality here on Wikipedia. He is a super great editor most of the time. When interacting with a few editors, he turns into Mr. Hyde, down right evil and untrustworthy. We've discussed him previously. On my talk page I've documented some of his "dark side" antics. I rarely edit Wikipedia anymore because I'm one of the editors that he turns into Mr. Hyde and then hounds me. It seems that you may be in that same situation with Mr. Hyde. It is just not fun editting Wikipedia when an Mr. Hyde is hounding you. When I do edit Wikipedia I use a different account. Anyway, I use this account only for dealing with Mr. Hyde. Please feel free to add further documentation of Mr. Hyde's "dark side" antics to my talk page, if you are so inclined. Regards, Bill Huffman (talk) 15:37, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For the most part, I try to work collaboratively with other editors, unless they are making racist/sexist/antisemitic/anti-Arab or Muslim/homophobic/anti-etc edits. The only other exception is when they are grossly violating Wikipedia rules, and then I look for help, with an eye towards calming the situation. Wikipedia is a much rougher place than it should be, IMO, but I think it pays to conduct yourself as though it weren't, if you know what I mean. IronDuke 01:50, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ulysses S. Grant, General Orders No. 11 and Antisemitism[edit]

Hello IronDuke. I moved much of your section to the Ulysses S. Grant and the American Civil War article. I incorporated Antisemitism into the title of the section on Vicksburg and Chattanooga and summarized General Orders No. 11 and antisemitism into one paragraph in the main Ulysses S. Grant article. No "white washing" this time. I hope this meets your approval. If not you are free to make any edits or revert to older version. Thanks. Cmguy777 (talk) 16:43, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks very much, and sorry I haven't replied earlier. IronDuke 18:33, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
