Welcome![edit]

Hello, Ibankquant, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to Anti-Indian sentiment does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Hello, I have copied below your contribution to the Anti-India sentiment article:

The New York Times publicly opposed India's entry into the Nuclear Supplier's Group (NSG) in an editorial published in June 2016[1], even though successive US presidents, including Barack Obama, have actively supported India's entry into this club[2] .At the NSG, the main opposition to India's entry came from China. The New York Times position was therefore in opposition of a democratic country (i.e. India) and in support of China, a non-democratic country that has often had hostile relations with the US on this and other issues. This resulted in a volley of criticism directed at the New York Times and allegations of anti-India bias from senior figures in the Indian and US foreign policy establishments as well as the media.[3] [4][5]

This text makes it appear as if Wikipedia is making an interpretation about the alleged partisanship of the New York Times. WP:NPOV does not allow you to do that. You are stating opinions as if they are facts. You have to use inline attribution to attribute the opinions to their authors. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 23:38, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
