Speedy deletion nomination of FDP Basel[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because This is about a cantonal party in Switzerland, comparable to a state in the USA (Governor of a state). Basel is not just a city its also a state (see here Basel). It is also one of the five major parties in Switzerland, which is represented in the federal government (Federal Council - Bundesrat) with two out of seven seats. The article is undoubtedly relevant, and the request for speedy deletion is nonsensical. Clearly, the applicant has no understanding of the subject matter or the criteria for notability. Compare with the article FDP Hamburg. Its 110% clear this is notable... Helpi679 (talk) 16:18, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
