Hello Mr. Piper.

I,m responsible for most of the article about Wilkens' book and so I've read your comment on the talk page. I would like to say that I'm quite happy with the way you summarized the evolution of our culture and the role of Homer, and the difficulties Wilkens' new view on the epics encounters. Although this view seems very plausible and logical one can never be sure but my conviction is that Wilkens has a point. It is good to hear from someone who is interested and who has a positive attitude with respect to this theory, and it gives me hope that more people will see the plausability of it.
