Alcarillo[edit]

Its a shame people like you exist on WP, you are a detriment to what WP stands for. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Peterx45678 (talkcontribs) 17:35, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

changes[edit]

you have made major changes to the John H Meier site (and even have him involved with the military problem which it specifically said before that was another person), and all but wiped out the Age of Secrets site. If you want to make major changes start a discussion on each site to discuss. I agree with some of your re-wording on John H Meier, but you have removed a lot of important info. as well as making Age of Secrets nothing more then a link to its official website which would defeat the purpose of wikipedia. Again, start a discussion page, otherwise I will take your wording edits and change them to John H Meier. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Peterx45678 (talkcontribs) 20:17, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nicely done expansion of the political activism section, well referenced, neutrally written!! Wildhartlivie (talk) 20:25, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I felt it was important to present information pertaining to her active participation in the political process -- funding, petitions, donations, etc. Instead of making it seem like all she does is hug poor kids and show up at politically correct rallies. 30th Avenue names[edit]

Erroneous? Take a walk on 30th avenue, and don't tell me I won't win, Trash talking huh, Listen take a walk through 30th avenue and when you feel like a douchebag get back to me, Where are you from anyway the midwest. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hazeyville69 (talkcontribs) 04:27, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea?[edit]

Right I have no idea since I was born and raised here. Also it's amusing that I use a juvenile word, when you wrote "a war which I can't win". Now whose being juvenile?. I'm just giving what your're throwing at me. You just don't agree that's all, so tough shit. Go move back to Ohio. Date format deprecated?[edit]

(re: Quirino Paulino)

Could you point me to where this is discussed? thx. (John User:Jwy talk) 23:22, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I think you were talking about January 1st, 2008. I've stored the preference enabling links as per WP:DATE#Autoformatting and linking. (John User:Jwy talk) 23:28, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was focusing on the one change I had been involved in that got reverted with the rest. All but the one I had done were cool by me and were just unlinking years and the like. I went back an linked complete Month ##, #### dates so the preferences would work. Later. (John User:Jwy talk) 23:49, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed that text because it was not appropriate to that article's talk page. Please see WP:TALK. Any information about Donald Blackburn can – and should – be included there, if it isn't already. Alcarillo (talk) 19:24, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your editorial input and interest. I appreciate it. Sincerely, Rusty Dr. B. R. Lang (talk) 20:00, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Idema.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Idema.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:12, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

USS Ticonderoga[edit]

I was wondering where you got some of your information on the USS Ticonderoga, specifically the Kamikazee attacks that damaged the ship in Jan of 1945. I don't know how to email you from here but if you could contact me I would appreciate it! ksmiley@kc.rr.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.4.193.228 (talk) 14:54, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Idema & Cafasso[edit]

Here's the ref that the rather rude fellow on the Idema talk page alluded to: http://www.post-trib.com/news/1418381,pcinvestigate.article

I have added it and others as refs on the Cafasso page. There are others that cover the same police report, but this article mentions Idema by name. --Pleasantville (talk) 17:00, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for finding that. Yeah, I had no clue as to what that person was talking about. As for this recent news, I think it is amusing that Cafasso and Idema waste so much time battling each other. Would make a great odd-couple comedy: Jack and Joe: Truth Busters United. Alcarillo (talk) 20:53, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[moved from my user page Alcarillo (talk)]

Dear Alcarillo: I don't know how to send you a message, so I apologize for putting it here, but assume you'll see it. I am Ed Caraballo. There is a line in my Wikopedia article that is not true, and has been causing me a great deal of problems. "Caraballo says he remains committed to his new faith." I have never said that, publicly or privately. In a edit I tried to make, I quoted Gandhi, by saying if one religion is right they are all right." I am Muslim, like I am Buddhist, Christian and Universalist. If you say in the article that I have renounced Islam, that could but my life in danger. Would you please consider removing that line. Thanks. Ed Caraballo I can be reached at ed.caraballo@yahoo.com, an email address I believe I've communicated with you on in the past, before your move.

Ed, done. (Yes, I do owe you an email/call.)

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Alcarillo! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 945 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Phil Stern - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. John N. McMahon - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

I have nominated Norm Hooten, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Norm Hooten. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Novaseminary (talk) 22:45, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 02:32, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
