My username does not represent a company, group, organization, product, or website. It is just a username I came up with a few years ago for YouTube, and I've used it for various accounts over the years, including my Instagram and Twitter accounts. A Google search comes up with https://lessons.com/ga/marietta/piano-lessons/goforth-studios and https://www.facebook.com/goforthstudios/ . Obviously we have no way of knowing which, if either, you are associated with. Consequently, I see no alternative but for you to select a new username. There are circumstances where creating a new account is permissible - see WP:Clean start - but I am not convinced that you have made a case. Consequently, I have blocked your new account. The correct way forward is to propose a new user name here (that for technical reasons needs to be materially different from the two accounts you have created) and I will move this account to the new username. You should do this while logged in as Goforth studios. If you wish to make a clean start case then that should also be done here while logged in as Goforth studios. Just Chilling, huh? I looked into this block yesterday and could not find any indication that there is an entity named "Goforth studios"; thus there's no shared use, and I was tempted to just unblock with a request to add a comment to the userpage clarifying that it's a single person. That said, I see nothing at all that would make the new account, User:RIP Previous Account, You Will Be Missed, blockable. It's not sockpuppetry (though linking the two accounts on the new one's user page would be a good idea), it's not a username violation, and not going through a global rename is not a blockable offence, the last time I checked - it's clearly not an attempt at evading scrutiny. Would you object to an unblock for User:RIP Previous Account, You Will Be Missed? Or can you explain why, exactly, that account needs to be blocked? Huon (talk) 21:32, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
