Kenny Wilkerson (born on November 26, 1966) from Whiteland, Indiana is an American musican, producer, songwriter, label founder and is best known for being the co-founder and bassist of the hard rock band Nova Rex.

Kenny has worked with various artists over the years including:

In 1995 Wilkerson put his talents to use at Big Shot/Savant Records (VP & Director of Promotions) and was instrumental in releasing Grammy winning act A Flock Of Seagulls "Light at the End of the World" distrubted by I.N.D.I.

Wilkerson was founder of Quantum Records, established in 1998 with first artist Alex De Rosso a rock guitarist from Padova, Italy. Alex was signed to Quantum Records in 1999, and was released in Europe on Rokarola/Music Avenue.

Nova Rex: Ain't Easy Being Cheesy", a hair-metal documentary. It is the real-life exploits of Kenny Wilkerson and his glam band NOVA REX that have come back to life in this hilarious 2011 documentary DVD that recalls the heavy-metal group riffing through the late 80s hair-band era before crashing into a wall of early '90s grunge. Released on Quantum Records 2011.


In 2011 Wilkerson was inducted into The Johnson County Musuem of History in Franklin, Indiana.

Wilkerson always uses and endorses G&L basses.
