To clarify[edit]

A suggestion? Might I suggest looking at the userbox help-page? -Jéské (v^_^v Detarder) 06:15, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And one final thing: Wikipedia's not a web host. If you wish, it might be wise to put down a little bit about yourself (such as your age, your interests, etc.) and possibly a committed identity to keep your account from being hijacked (I do notice you've been editing via IP). -Jéské (v^_^v Detarder) 00:38, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ok, well, I'm going to follow this advice then... thanks... Gifford Watkins (talk) 17:26, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some people add information about themselves as well, possibly including contact information (email, instant messaging, etc), a photograph, their real name, their location, information about their areas of expertise and interest, likes and dislikes, homepages, and so forth. (If you are concerned with privacy, you may not want to and are by no means required to emulate this.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:User_page#What_may_I_have_on_my_user_page.3F

You are welcome to include a link to your personal home page, although you should not surround it with any promotional language. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.89.193.197 (talk) 16:23, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
