Famousbirthdays.com is not a reliable source[edit]

Hello, GerryCreme. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

You can make a sandbox page for testing (Instructions here: Help:My sandbox), or you can use the shared sandbox here: Wikipedia:Sandbox. You can also make Draft articles and submit them for consideration later (Instructions here: Wikipedia:Drafts).

So there is no problem with you testing how to edit but I think there is a serious problem with what you are trying to write. Wikipedia is an Encyclopaedia and not a fansite. We do want entries about major TV series on notable TV channels but we don't need to detail every contestant in every single game on every single episode of every single quiz show or talent contest. We might mention series winners but not normally every contestant. The stuff you are trying to write is just too detailed for Wikipedia. Such detail is not only unnecessary, it is also unverifiable because it can not be referenced to reliable sources.

It is better to find a more appropriate home for this sort of writing rather than fight, unsuccessfully to get it into Wikipedia. There are many fansites and it is even possible to start your own fanwiki using Wikia or other services. --DanielRigal (talk) 23:01, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
