Speedy deletion of "Merlin (series 5)"[edit]

A page you created, Merlin (series 5), has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it has no content, other than external links, categories, "see also" sections, rephrasing of the title, and/or chat-like comments.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Funnyfarmofdoom (talk to me) 03:52, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Merlin (series 5) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:CRYSTAL

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. December 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to User:C.Fred, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 07:27, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent edit to the page Merlin (series 4) appears to have added incorrect information and has been reverted or removed. All information in this encyclopedia must be verifiable in a reliable, published source. If you believe the information that you added was correct, please cite the references or sources or before making the changes, discuss them on the article's talk page. Please use the sandbox for any tests that you wish to make. Do take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. Note[edit]

Since what you're doing at Merlin (series 5) doesn't have any references, that title will work better as a redirect. If, someday, there is enough written about this subject to make a separate article necessary, that'll be different. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:16, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Merlin (series 5). Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Sparthorse (talk) 10:37, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

January 2012[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Articles for creation/2011, you may be blocked from editing. Don't change any closed archive - it is simply no discussion there, moreover don't sign as an other editor! mabdul 11:19, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at List of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated episodes, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sparthorse (talk) 11:23, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Scooby-Doo! Note on your block[edit]

I don't like blocking new users who are still trying to learn the rules, but it is important that you do learn the rules now. For an early unblock, just read WP:N and WP:RS, then use the unblock template as described in the block notice above, and explain, clearly and specifically, how you will tell the difference between appropriate and inappropriate subjects for articles in the future. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:29, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Talk:Merlin (series 5) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your article submission Merlin (Series 5)[edit]

Hello Funbat03. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Merlin (Series 5). I note that a fuller version article has since been created in the encyclopeadia.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on using the material in it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Merlin (Series 5)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Rankersbo (talk) 09:01, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK a lot of water has passed under the bridge, Merlin (Series 5) was broadcast and has finished last Autumn, and an article on it is in mainspace, so the deletion of this draft is just an admin thing. Nethertheless if you think there was something in your draft that you could use in the main article, see the instructions above on how to retrieve it.
