Hi FrenchScholar (talk · contribs) First I did want to say thanks again for your numerous contributions to the Wiki - I didn't want to forget to WELCOME you to Wiki after all your hard work! I know it can be disheartening to work hard and see your edits go through many revisions (by many other editors), but it is always for the greater good of the overall mission, and you have been a very good team player! As for the tags, I would leave them for now. Tags are not meant as a "scarlet letter" if you will, they are not meant to stigmatize an article - rather they are put there to help improve the article and to draw attention of other editors who are willing to help. If I were you I would leave the tags for now (since they haven't been there for long) and wait for an uninvolved editor to remove them - once another editor feels enough progress has been made I'm sure they will remove them! Please stop marking edits such as [1] as minor in flagrant breach of WP:MINOR: "A check to the minor edit box signifies that only superficial differences exist between the current and previous versions. Examples include typographical corrections, formatting and presentational changes, and rearrangements of text without modification of its content. Yes, conflict of interest is an issue here, as is WP:OWNERSHIP, which is why I've requested assistance from other editors. I've also removed several passages that were copyright violations--I've no idea whether they were added by you or another account, but they couldn't stay. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized).
