Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. I am suitably chastened. It points to a misunderstanding on my part, about the purpose of the "Talk" section. I lack credentialing, too. I'm pretty sure serious researchers don't take much interest in Wikipedia entries, and I do not consider myself highly qualified to critique the work of others. I want to understand more about what I did wrong. Is it the accidental use of NordVPN, or the topic in the "Talk" section of the Rhinoceros entry?

I use a VPN by default. I logged in without a problem, using my password manager, and attempted to add the topic. Upon receiving the denial, I recalled that VPNs can be a problem. I logged out, disconnected the VPN temporarily, logged in and made my edit. Then I logged out, and reenabled my VPN.

I am concerned, and I do not want to be blocked. I have asked questions in the "Talk" sections of: Vegenere Cipher; Markov Chain; and Rhinoceros. Prior (over three years ago,) I asked a question in the "Talk" section of the Hymen entry, with username faragut or faragut102721. I have lost the password to that one, and duly associated my email recently with Formfollows.

If I forget and make the VPN mistake again, will it result in permanent censure? Formfollows (talk) 00:07, 15 November 2023 (UTC)

While it is humorous to cite a Hollywood movie as a source, rhinos do range in Australia. The article doesn't mention the Australian rhino. I am certainly not a qualified academic, but my misunderstanding seems to have been that a sort of intellectual "alley-oop," would assist the qualified academics who watch the page in improving it. I assert that it should be documented somewhere that rhinos compulsively extinguish fires, and this prevents some prairie fire type events in Australia. I suppose that this behavior might extend to African rhinos but I do not know.
