While WOW Promotions did not have a business mission outside the UFC, it had its own history and convoluted politics, given the difficulty of establishing this type of event in 1993.

Your recent edit to Art Davie & Rorion Gracie - WOW Promotions (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. Nice work on the history of MMA - I had never heard of any of that stuff! And if you know more info about Art Davie, and the politicial struggles of the early UFC, please feel free to fill in facts on the event pages, such as UFC 9 (where I added all the info I could find about the McCain stuff) or the main UFC page's history section. If you are interested, check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Mixed martial arts and add your name to the list.

Keep it up!

The article Paradigm Entertainment group has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a person or group of persons but it does not indicate how or why that person or group is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. --Konstable 09:44, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Ernest Roeber[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Ernest Roeber, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

This article doesn't seem notable at all. Heck, I'm not sure this guy even existed.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
