Hi, didn't realize you were editing this. Just remove the prod tag if you want. I'm not going to contest it. -- JJay 04:09, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No worries :) I'm acting on behalf of the Zgeekers, they didn't know the protocol.

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Every Little Kiss, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. freshacconci (✉) 12:19, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Sister Ray, you may be blocked from editing. freshacconci (✉) 12:20, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon Your recent edits to Not Fade Away (song) could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. freshacconci (✉) 12:28, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The IP in question is correct -- all those additions need to be removed for lack of citations, per WP:COVERSONG. Also, edit summaries such as this "If you want to edit Wikipedia, do it under your name at home, not at your place of work, anonymously. Do we have to ask the Department to hunt you down?" are totally unacceptable per WP:CIVIL. There is no requirement to edit using an account. Editing as an anonymous IP is just as valid. Consider this your final warning for disruptive editing and uncivil behavior towards other editors. freshacconci (✉) 12:25, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I shouldn't have made a public threat in the case of the DHS editor, but they weren't the only culprit and you've reverted a ton of edits that were simply removing sections for dubious or no reason at all, and that's not vandalism? So they've gotten what they wanted and damaged the site and you've helped them.. I'll know better next time. Thanks for warning me, and I'll refrain from making any effort to contribute in future.

They weren't vandalizing Wikipedia. Their edits were correct. If you want to contribute to Wikipedia, please read some of the rules first. Edits by anonymous IP editors are permitted -- there is no requirement to use an account to edit. Per WP:RS you must cite additions with a reliable source. Per WP:COVERSONG, indiscriminate additions of examples of cover versions of songs, without sources to demonstrate importance, is not permitted. Please do not accuse other editors of vandalism when there is obviously no vandalism -- an editor disagreed with your edits and cited Wikipedia guidelines. They were not in the wrong, you were. You are welcome to contribute but there is a learning curve and attacking other editors and disruptive editing can get you blocked. freshacconci (✉) 13:01, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
