List of French Argentines[edit]

It is not necessary to add the data and places of birth of the parents of the French-Argentines, if the person is interested in knowing more about their origins, they should only go to article and read about their biography, this is just a list, not a biography. Antiguo apellido, poco frecuente (también escrito Aimar y Aimà), procedente del nombre personal germánico Haimhard, “casa fuerte”, “fortaleza”. Tienen los Aymar sus principales asientos en Barcelona y Girona, con alguna presencia en Baleares, Zaragoza, Tarragona, Madrid, etc.

Tuvieron los de este apellido antigua casa solariega en Arenys de Mar (Barcelona), algunas de cuyas ramas pasaron a Mallorca y otras al antiguo reino de Valencia. También en el término municipal de Gavà (Barcelona) hubo una muy antigua masia llamada Ca l´Aimar, desaparecida en el siglo XIX. I have read your comment on the discussion page of the list of French-Argentines, the names were deleted because there was no references about their ancestors, after i suggested and mentioned references, you began to add them, many years after, from what i just observed, by the way. Therefore they were not arbitrary editions, "Sir".
