January 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Justin Russo, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to La La Land (Demi Lovato) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. --Avant-garde a clue-hexaChord2 15:40, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to La La Land (Demi Lovato) constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. --Avant-garde a clue-hexaChord2 15:45, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

February 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from You Got It (Lucas Grabeel Song). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 15:16, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war at Bop to the Top and What I've Been Looking For. While the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. I have fully protected both pages in their current form for a period of two weeks. Please take this opportunity to use the talk pages to help to establish consensus for the future evolution of these pages. If necessary, you may wish to consider pursuing some of the recommendations at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. Although the articles were merged following AfD in 2006, this does not bar the possibility that a different consensus will emerge, and conversation remains the proper start to resolving differences on Wikipedia. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:49, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why this edit? The #36 at the mainstream was right. If there isn't a reference please don't delete, but research one.--Mojska (m) 12:43, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on No Boundaries (song). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution.

Hello, I created the song article for You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home and I could not seem to find the producers of this single. Could you please tell me where I can find this information? You seemed to be able to find the producers of the track Let's Do This, No Boundaries, and more. Please reply. --Ipodnano05 (talk) 02:14, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Miley Cyrus Discography[edit]

Do not change where the sources are placed within the tables. It's clearer to have sources immediately within the columns. I have put a great amount of effort to update especially all those sources for US positions as Billboard has updated their page. Note that it takes more than one source for some of Canadian and US singles as not all of them are included on one page. We need to have them all there, clearly indicating as to which one belongs to which, so users can verify the positions if they wish to. Regards. --Harout72 (talk) 15:26, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok.Dennissell (talk) 08:21, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We are to include US Pop 100 only when there are no positions available for US Hot 100. In the case of this here, however, we have positions derived from the US Hot 100. It's OK to have the POP 100 column for Other Charted Songs and As Hannah Montana because we are missing some positions for Hot 100.--Harout72 (talk) 06:06, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warnings[edit]

August 2009[edit]

  1. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Here We Go Again, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Do not remove references from information. Thank you. Pokerdance (talk/contribs) 17:05, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Here We Go Again (album). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Pokerdance (talk/contribs) 19:09, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Here We Go Again (album). Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Pokerdance (talk/contribs) 19:20, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"link" sections[edit]

Please don't break up the references in charts into extra "link" columns. The figures should have references, just as any other figure, and frequently the certifications require a different reference than the chart position. There's no reason to add an additional column (or two), when we have a perfectly good reference syntax available.—Kww(talk) 19:17, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Really? actually, put it into the link section, the ref would bee seen clearly.Dennissell (talk) 19:21, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You could see it clearly without the extra column. Pokerdance (talk/contribs) 19:25, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know you get my point. Pokerdance (talk/contribs) 19:30, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What's your system going to be for a table that has a column for position, a column for certification, and a column for sales? Three additional "link" columns?—Kww(talk) 19:39, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh... anyway, I will do "sortable" only.Dennissell (talk) 19:45, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of High School Musical (song)[edit]

The article High School Musical (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references, no content, no claim of notability, fails WP:NSONG and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
