Hello[edit]

I figured since you weren't properly welcomed, I would do so myself.

The BP Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico - SOLUTIONS PAGE[edit]

The British Petroleum oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is the WORST in the history of our troubled planet. It's not even plugged yet, some at BP are saying it could go on for YEARS, so it could become the worst ecological disaster of all time, never to be outdone. It could even ruin the entire ocean ecology killing plankton and fish which would in turn greatly effect all human life on the planet. The main lungs of the planet is the life in the ocean, the planktonic creatures that breathe in Carbon Dioxide, the poisonous gas, we breathe out and pour out of our factories and cars, and they produce oxygen, the gas that is essential to our life.

If there is anyone out there who cares about this disaster as much as I do, I would invite them to post their ideas to this article. Anyone reading it, please place a link to this article on your website, Send it to influential Bloggers, send it in letters to your editors, and put it into your Emails, your messages and anywhere else you can think of where it will gain attention in hopes that someday the Obama Administration will get an idea that can work to PLUG the LEAKING POISON before it's too late to reverse the destructive effects of this cancer on our planet.

Here is my suggestion. I believe it would work to PLUG the LEAK, at least temporarily until they could drill enough relief wells all around the broken well to relieve the pressure and get all of the oil out of this underground reservoir.

SUGGESTION No.1: Operation S.O.S. (Sink Old Ships) - Use the US NAVY and all its resources to find and outfit a HUGE SHIP that has become obsolete, fill it with MUD, CEMENT, IRON ORE, anything so heavy that it will allow the ship to sink deep into the mud of the ocean floor. Scuttle the ship slowly and with great care, guiding it to the bottom of the ocean with either cables, anchors or submarines so that we are certain of landing it precisely ON TOP of the GUSHING WELL. If it lands in the BULL'S EYE of the target, the heavy ship, which should be the size of TWO FOOTBALL FIELDS, should block the oil from gushing out of the well for years. Ships of this size are available all over the country placed into MOTHBALLS by the US NAVY when they become obsolete by newer weapons of war. Why not use one of these to SAVE OUR PLANET. I call this Operation S.O.S. or Sink Old Ships to plug up the gushing well.

It is greatly hoped that this suggestion will be presented to President Obama. As the COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF of the armies and navies of this great nation, he wields the power to order such a task be undertaken. The ship could be sailed to this spot in the Gulf, filled with sand or cement within a few days. Then, when scuttled carefully and with enough guidance could land very heavily on top of the broken oil rig, squashing all pipes and equipment as flat as a pancake along the ocean floor. This would PLUG THE PIPES and the SURROUNDING AREA with so much mass that not one drop of oil could leak out. It could last forever, but it would still be wise to allow BP to drill their relief wells all over this area to get the rest of the oil out of this field so that it would be certain that no oil ever does leak out of this wreck.

AGAIN: We invite all readers who love their country, love their planet to make copies of this article and spread it around to everyone you know. Please above all SEND TO THE WHITE HOUSE. It has been sent my the author, but until the White Receives THOUSANDS OF THEM, they will not NOTICE IT, due to the HIGH VOLUME of emails and letters they get, over 100,000 PER DAY. So, we have to SEND THIS MESSAGE to the WHITE HOUSE BY THE THOUSANDS BEFORE IT IS NOTICED. Please DO YOUR PART and send it as often as you can.

If you send it to HUNDREDS of your FRIENDS and CONTACTS on your FACEBOOK ACCOUNTS, TWITTER IT, Etc., we could reach our critical mass of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND MESSAGES TO THE WHITE HOUSE IN DAYS. The best scenario is if we could get it sent in the MILLIONS. Bureaucracy is our WORST ENEMY in this COUNTRY and so we need these numbers NOW. PLEASE HELP.

SEND COPIES TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS and CONTACTS NOW. DO NOT DELAY. We could be saving the planet for all future generations of human kind and if you don't care about that, do it for the DOLPHINS, the PELICANS, the CORMORANTS, the fish, the turtles, all fellow creatures with whom we share this planet. Thank You and God Bless America.

This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. A tag has been placed on User:Democracyman, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of User:Democracyman and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Ian.thomson (talk) 17:09, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
