Gorals[edit]

You are inserting POV and possibly OR into the Goral article. There is a big difference between Podhale Gorals (including on the Slovak side and Śląsk) who are Catholic and speak a Polish dialect vs. Ruthenian Gorals (Lemkos, Hutsuls, etc.) who are Orthodox and speak a variant of the Ruthenian language. Just because they have a connection to the Valachs and are sometimes referred to generically to as "highlanders" does not mean they are the same highlanders or that they are closely related, that is why there are separate articles for Lemkos and Hutsuls. Even one of your sources says that there were two migration to the region, the Valachs (Podhale gorals) and then Valach-Ruthenians (those would be the Lemko gorals). So, pls stop making a mess; lumping everything together. E-960 (talk) 14:31, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect, I never knew or coordinated with this user. You believe this because you are from NRW and don't understand the extent of how offensive it will be to many to refer to Gorals as a ethnograpraphic subethnic group of the Polish nation. It would be like calling the South Schleswig Danes a subethnic group of the German nation, or Bosnians basically just Serbs. And this wasn't actually the case not that long ago in the article. You don't speak Polish but you can see in the source the user I reported and cited that he was making things up, and changing the article to fit his own agenda, and it's not like it's not obvious. It's the equivalent of calling the Scots of today who speak English as "a subethnic group of the British nation." The intent is to delegitimise their own identity and now you've unfortunately made it so the article can not be served and so it's an unreliable article, which won't be changed. That is all. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:EmilePersaud 22:05, 30 August 2023 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by EmilePersaud (talkcontribs) [reply]
